Pamela received an MFA from SUNY Albany in 1981 with a concentration in printmaking.

After completing her graduate degree she traveled to Barcelona, Spain to apprentice with paper artist, Laurence Barker. In Spain she also completed a new body of work that combined her new paper making skills with woodblock printing. She has shown extensively on the East coast including a solo show at the Amos Eno Gallery in New York City. Pamela has been teaching adults and children for over forty years. She retired to Ajo, Arizona in 2018.
